Min Hourly Rate $14.20 (Standard); $13.20 (Non-Urban); $15.45 (Portland Metro) Max Hourly Rate $21.00 (Standard); $18.50 (Non-Urban); $21.50 (Portland Metro) Position Summary This recruitment will be used to fill one part time (a maximum of 40 hours during summer and 24 hours during academic terms) student technical assistance position for the Department of Environmental and Molecular Toxicology (EMT) at Oregon State University (OSU). Performs routine to complex technical or specialized tasks in support of research and/or contracts. Activities include extractions, instrumental analysis, and data analysis. Position tasks Student will perform routine laboratory tasks and general lab maintenance. » 95% laboratory research work » 5% laboratory maintenance related work including but not limited to general laboratory cleaning/tidying, washing dishes according to protocol, and recycling.
