tasks and Job responsibilities:: This position will provide high-level operational and administrative support to the Director, Environmental Health & Safety. The EH&S Business Services Specialist will manage the everyday aspects of the accounts payable and purchasing functions through Concur and NovaBuy systems as well as ensuring that vendors are properly onboarded and contracts are fully executed. This position includes detailed financial tasks including reconciliation of expenses and preparing month- and year-end projections.

The EH&S Business Services Specialist will assist in everyday business processes. This position is responsible for EHS compliance and technical tasks including injury and incident tracking using internal and third-party services; supporting training efforts including documenting training completion and publishing training using LMS platforms; scheduling and support of Employee Safety Committee; assisting with administration of chemical inventory system; tracking and storing manifests for regulated waste.

Minimum Appropriate qualifications::
   » High School Diploma
   » knowledge of general office procedures and equipment; demonstrated capability with MS Office suite; knowledge of budget/financial transaction.
   » Excellent oral and written communication expertise. capability to manage difficult conversations with parents and other constituents. Strong organizational and interpersonal expertise. capability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Preferred Appropriate qualifications:: Bachelor's degree.
Banner, Concur, ESM practice.
