Yes Job Summary The College of Education is seeking a Coordinator of Marketing and Communications. This is a full-time (1.00 FTE), 12-month, professional faculty position. The Coordinator of Marketing and Communications is responsible for supporting day-to-day operations for communications and marketing in the College of Education, including the development and implementation of web-located content, social media posts, email and social media marketing, graphic design needs and special projects. The incumbent works under the supervision of the Director of Marketing and Communications to help support CoEd faculty and staff, students and student workers, alumni, community partners, other OSU employees and the OSU Foundation as needed. The incumbent maintains the integrity of the OSU Brand and the College of Education Aesthetic through written and visual digital, production of social media content, creation of printed materials, and related tasks. The incumbent performs assessments of communication strategies, including but not limited to web site user performance, social media analytics, and small-scale market analyses. Why OSU? Working Conditions / Work Schedule This is a hybrid position. The incumbent may work remotely when appropriate, as agreed on between the employee and manager, or from the office environment on the OSU Corvallis Campus, Furman Hall. A typical work week is Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm. Flexibility is needed to attend events or projects in the evenings or on weekends. Travel is occasionally required to Portland, Bend and other locations for content creation, publicity, and marketing purposes.
