This is a labor-intensive field position, and the prosperous applicant should expect to spend >90% of their time working outdoors. Typical tasks include conducting timber inventories, preparing timber sales, planting trees/running planting crews, and applying herbicides. The position may include a heavy amount of out-of-town travel (up to 50%) for which employee will be compensated.
