Employment Category Limited Duration Job Summary This recruitment will be used to fill one part-time (approximately 15 hours per week) Teaching adjunct position for the Department of Horticulture at Oregon State University (OSU). This is a limited duration appointment expected to last approximately 6 months from the appointment begin date. Assist with Ecampus HORT 315 (Sustainable Landscapes: Maintenance, Conservation, Restore) through Spring and Summer Terms. Assist with Ecampus transition for HORT 380 (Sustainable Landscape Design). Key Responsibilities 70% Assist with all aspects of administering remote lecture and lab, Zoom management, Canvas management, Discussion Board, answering questions from students etc. 15% Assist with grading weekly assignment, quizzes and sketch book 15% Course prep: research and make recommendations to instructor for course readings located on input from student discussion board. What We Require Equivalent to a high school diploma and six months of paid or unpaid practice working with or caring for children, preferably in groups; OR Two years of college courses in Education. Some positions in this class may require the possession of an Oregon Driver's License valid for the class of vehicles used by the employing agencies. What You Will Need .
