All work will be performed outside at the North Recreational Complex location. These employees must be available to work approximately 12 to 38 hours each week between the hours of 7:00 am and 4:00 pm. There is no weekend or night time work required. candidates must be prepared to work in various weather conditions. Employees will lgain all facets of properly maintaining an athletic complex; including basic sports turf fundamentals, field layouts, painting, turf equipment and cultivate practices for turf grass. Tasks to be performed include but are not limited to: mowing, edging, weed trimming, pruning, backpack blowing, trash pick-up, spraying, painting athletic fields, and assembling athletic equipment. Preferred (Majors, practice, GPA, etc.) Must be a currently enrolled student in good academic standing. Any prior practice in landscaping, sports turf management or operating heavy equipment is a plus. Applicant must have a valid NC driver's license, able to lift 50 pounds and practiced in operating gas powered equipment.
