Our store carries winery merchandise including fermentation products, cellar cleaning supplies, stainless steel hardware, and laboratory equipment and reagents. Health benefits, paid time off, and a 401k plan are available. The retail associate will assist customers, answer phones, enter sales, fill orders, and stock shelves. Additional tasks will include managing inventory, coordinating with the Napa location, and maintaining store appearance. This position has broad opportunities for growth including warehouse management, marketing development, and retail expansion. A prosperous candidate must be friendly, provide outstanding customer service, and work independently. candidates must have strong reasoning expertise, be computer literate, and exhibit excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Flexibility and a positive, team-oriented attitude are essential. Wine production practice or expertise is preferred but not required. This is a full time position with a regular schedule of Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 5pm. Extended hours, overtime, and some Saturdays will be required during harvest. Additional requirements include the capability to lift 55 lbs on a regular basis; sit and stand for long periods; understand and follow written technical directions including chemical labeling.
