Minimum Position Appropriate qualifications: Bachelor's Degree and two (2) years of appropriate practice. An equivalent combination of education, training, and practice may be substituted for the degree requirement.

Special Conditions: The department is especially interested in candidates who are knowledgeable of University policies and procedures and in candidates who are practiced users of TigerBuy, Banner, E-courseware, Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. skills in Outlook calendar is essential.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday
8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
May need to work/travel beyond normal work schedule.

Job tasks

tasks & Job responsibilities: Provide administrative support for the College's Academic Division Directors. Interprets department and campus policies and guidelines independently supporting the College's programs. Review incoming mail, internal forms, and other paperwork to ensure completeness, accuracy, and conformity within established procedures. Routes mail, internal forms, and other documents to the appropriate individuals and departments for approval or action. Assists internal and external visitors and callers, including directing them to the appropriate person/department, procedural information, or meeting location. Schedules committee meetings for all academic-related committees.

tasks & Job responsibilities: Provide administrative support for faculty by managing room use, copying, printing, and/or distributing class materials, and assisting with learning management platforms (Canvas) and/or other educational technologies (e.g., testing software), as requested. Coordinate and schedule meetings for faculty within the department, University, and external stakeholders. Assist faculty with planning and implementing program-related activities such as exam schedules and proctoring. Process DRS accommodations for students. Provides faculty guidance with troubleshooting Chrome River issues as needed.

tasks & Job responsibilities: Orders textbook desk copies on behalf of faculty. Verification of books in the BN system. Ordered and distributed general supplies as needed, including SIM/Skills Lab Supplies. Order posters from TigerGraphix for the College's Division Directors and faculty. Enters TigerBuy/Pcard requisitions. Ensures receipt of all ordered supplies and follows up with vendors as necessary for missing or returned items. Reconciles Pcard purchases monthly. Monitors and maintains the inventory of supplies for the Division.

tasks & Job responsibilities: Serves as a building access and issue liaison for all physical plant issues within the LCON (3rd Fl), including telecommunications, IT, and HVAC. Submits Physical Plant work orders. supervises the organization and set-up of office and lab space for new faculty. Requests and distributes building keys to new faculty and requests door and critical access for faculty when issues arise. Submits room reservations for faculty.
