8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Occasionally works/travels beyond normal work schedule, including weekends.

Job tasks

tasks & Job responsibilities: Respond to event inquiries and prepare sales proposals from prospective and returning clients regarding the use of facilities and services for conferences and other events, including but not limited to external corporate and non-profit clients, individuals, and University faculty, staff, and agents. Conduct site tours for prospective clients as needed.

tasks & Job responsibilities: Update client information and log event details in event management system. Generates contracts to ensure University policies are met for all external clients using university facilities on the main campus as well as satellite campuses: Downtown Law School, Meeman Biological Center, Millington Campus and Lambuth Campus.

tasks & Job responsibilities: Assist during summer conference housing with tasks such as but not limited to: liaison between client and Residence Life, room assignments, catering, meeting room selections/setup, arranging transportation, etc.

tasks & Job responsibilities: Participates in the development of annual revenue goals and pricing strategies, as well as development of the marketing communications plan.

tasks & Job responsibilities: Maintain and update CES social media pages, coordinate the production of any necessary brochures, direct mail and tradeshow items, including copywriting and editing.

tasks & Job responsibilities: Attend tradeshows showcasing University venues as a premier location for conferences, camps, and events.
