Job location: CPB is located at 401 Ninth St. NW, Washington, DC with the option of remote work. Position Opportunity: » This intern's primary responsibility will be to help develop and field an online survey of public television stations, focused on stations' strategies and activities in education. The intern will assist with follow-up to achieve a target response rate, data cleaning, and analysis of both quantitative and qualitative items, and possibly with other data gathering and analysis tasks as requested. » The intern will assist with communicating findings to internal audiences at CPB and with the public media station community. » The position reports to the Director, Research and Evaluation and will also work with staff in multiple departments at CPB and at public television stations as part of data collection and communication activities. » The intern will work on other projects, as assigned, located on the intern's interests and CPB's needs. Appropriate qualifications: » Enrolled in bachelor's or a graduate degree program or recent college graduate with practice in data cleaning and statistical analysis. practice in qualitative analysis is preferred. » An knowledge of grant-making organizations, non-profits and/or public broadcasting is preferred. » Excellent written and verbal communication expertise. » Strong organizational and time management expertise. » practice utilizing MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams) and online survey software required. practice with statistical software packages is a plus. » Demonstrated interpersonal expertise with the capability to establish and foster relationships through a professional presence.
