The position involves working closely with the shop team and design teams to fabricate physical models, furniture, and full-scale building prototypes. Ideal candidates will: » Possess a professional degree in architecture » Have 3-7 years of professional practice in Fabrication, Construction, or Architecture » Demonstrate confidence and leadership abilities expertise required to lead and mentor a team » Work as a team-player with a no-nonsense hands-on approach » Have aworking expertise of fabrication, construction materials, and assembly techniques » Be organized, motivated, and detail oriented » Excellent fluency in spoken and written English Responsibilities include: » Work with a team to ensure models and other physical deliverables are produced on schedule and budget » Maintain fabrication and shop equipment including 3D printers, CNC router, Kuka robotic arm, laser cutter, welder, saws, and other shop tools » Prepare digital models for physical fabrication using Rhino and Adobe software » Travel to supervise installations around the world » Comply and enforce shop safety protocol Compensation commensurate with practice.
