How will your days be spent » Thisposition is responsible for master planning, programming, anddeveloping large, complex medical facilities, interfacing directlywith the client to provide client development, leadership abilities, andoutstanding healthcare and medical planning practice. » Workdirectly with and lead multi-disciplinary teams and consultants todeliver projects on schedule and within budgets that meet thedesign intent at the required level of quality. Mentor and developless practiced team members. » As asubject matter expert, lead user meetings for needs assessment inorder to prepare functional and space programs. Guide and manageuser/client expectations and ensure the planning team articulatesand communicates the client's vision, goals, and objectives throughdevelopment of the project work plan during the planningphase. » Lead clientpresentations and project meetings, from user to executive,providing direction for planning team members andconsultants. » Assist theteam to produce documents reflective of the owner's goals andconsistent with project goals, planning parameters, and programintent. Be involved with DDs and oversight of CDs. Advise the CAteam to answer clinically significant questions. supervise the shopdrawing review process to ensure design intent is met. » Work withmarketing to prepare presentations and participate in clientinterviews. Assist in developing strategies for approachingpotential clients. » Travel toclients may be involved depending upon client needs. What you bring to this function practice » Minimumof 15 years of recent practice in master planning, programming,and developing large, complex medical facilitiesrequired. » Broadbase of practice with complex inpatient, ambulatory, diagnostic,and academic medical facilities required. Projects completed withmultiple clients required. » practicewith marketing, analytics, and client engagementpreferred. » Thoroughexpertise of codes and standards as related to healthcarefacilities, individual municipalities, State, IBC, ADA, ANSI, NFPA,FGI Guidelines, and specialty-specific standardsrequired. Software » Proficiency in Revit required » AutoCADpreferred Education » Associatesdegree in architecture, engineering, planning, or related fieldrequired; architectural degree preferred. » Professionalregistration preferred. » Sustaincapabilityaccreditation preferred.
