ECU Health has over 430 providers and sees over 700,000 patient visits per year. ECU Health is participating member in the Coastal Plains Network Accountable Care Organization and works closely with Vidant Health to improve the health of the citizens of Eastern North Carolina. This complex organization faces increasing challenges to provide assigned nurses to serve in various ambulatory care nursing functions. Job tasks tasks will vary depending on the department. This posting is for multiple departments. tasks would include but not limited to: the capability to execute a variety of tasks with some detail, requiring general knowledge and skill in the application of work procedures, phone triage, prior authorization for medications and procedures, patient education, and assisting with the movement of patients through to ambulatory clinics. Some position requires the availcapability to work weekdays, weekends, and holiday hours. Requires registration as a nurse by the North Carolina Board of Nursing. Part-time and Full-time positions may be available. Minimum Education/practice Licensed to practice as a Practical Nurse in the State of North Carolina.
