Min Hourly Rate $14.70 (Standard); $13.20 (Non-Urban); $15.45 (Portland Metro) Max Hourly Rate $21.00 (Standard); $18.50 (Non-Urban); $21.50 (Portland Metro) Position Summary This recruitment will be used to fill 2 part-time (a maximum of 24 hours per week) Lab Teaching adjunct position for the School of Civil and Contruction at Oregon State University (OSU). Anticipated pay rate of $16. Position tasks Run conductivity experiments in soil columns packed with sand, then they will run fluorescein experiments in soil structures and use confocal and fluorescence microscopy techniques to visualize fluid mixing and chemical reactions in 2D and 3D. They will also need lab safety training to work in the lab. A reduced course load is approved by the Office of International Services (OIS), and must be provided to the Student Employment Center.
