May need to work/travel beyond normal work schedule.

tasks & Job responsibilities: Administrative Support:
Manages calendars for faculty and department heads, scheduling meetings, appointments, and events in Outlook and EMS. Coordinates and prepare materials for meetings, including agendas, minutes, and follow-up actions. Handles incoming and outgoing communications, including emails, phone calls, and mail. Maintains office supplies and equipment, ensuring the office is well-stocked and functional. supervises the maintenance of office facilities, coordinating with facilities management as needed including telecommunications, Information technology and HVAC; door and key access for all faculty, staff, students, and outside collaborators. Supports faculty in the management of room assignments. Coordinates the submission and tracking of grades and academic records; Serves as Canvas department aide.

Serves as a point of contact for students, answering inquiries and providing information about academic programs and services. Assists with the orientation and onboarding of new students and faculty. Supports student organizations and activities as needed. Organization and oversite of proctors for MA, AuD and PhD comp exams. Drafts and processes all clinical affiliation contracts and externship contracts for Clinical offsite placements. Issues permits and pins for course registration, help resolve registration issues.

Plans and coordinates academic events, such as seminars, workshops, conferences, and guest lectures. Manages event logistics, including venue arrangements, catering, invitations, and attendee registration. Provides on-site support during events to ensure they run smoothly.
