Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license. Special Conditions: U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident (required to be authorized on government systems). Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Posting Date: 10/30/2024 Closing Date: 11/13/2024 Open Until Screening Begins: No Hiring Range: $60,000 - $70,000 per year Full-Time/Part-Time: Full-Time: Benefits Eligible Working Conditions: While performing the tasks of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, use hands to handle or feel, and talk or hear. Additional Position Information: Benefits of Employment (Applies to full-time, non-police employees only): Job tasks tasks & Job responsibilities: Collaborates with the Executive Director to develop and implement strategies for the Education Abroad program. supervises the everyday operations and administration of the education abroad office to include training and supervising education abroad office staff, student workers, and volunteers tasks & Job responsibilities: Leads education abroad program development and conduct regular assessment/evaluation of programs. Manages and supervises cross-campus collaboration with academic and administrative units on education abroad initiatives. tasks & Job responsibilities: supervises crisis and risk management for education abroad programs. Serves as contact person for crisis response involving Education Abroad participants. tasks & Job responsibilities: Pilots advising efforts for students, parents and community members on education abroad program options, policies and procedures in line with best practices. Directs pre-departure orientation meetings, Education Abroad Fair, and workshops for students. tasks & Job responsibilities: Manages the website, social media sites and database for the Education Abroad Office. Contribute to DIA Newsletter. tasks & Job responsibilities: Plans and budgets for education abroad programs in collaboration with the Business agent of the DIA.Manages the education abroad scholarship application review process. Manages external scholarship opportunities for students including Gilman, Freeman Asia, Fulbright, Boren etc. tasks & Job responsibilities: Administers J-1 exchange visa program and serve as Alternate Responsible agent for SEVIS. tasks & Job responsibilities: Performs other tasks as assigned.
