You will support the new Director/Curator in researching artwork and artists, installing exhibitions, designing collaborative programming as well as administrative tasks. You are highly organized, detail-orientated, efficient and self-motivated. You must be willing to take on projects both large and small with equal enthusiasm. Requirements:: » capability to conduct research on individual artists, movements or works of art within the Collection. » Communicate effectively with faculty, staff, artists, and the Villanova community. » Write and edit label copy, press releases, catalogues and wall text. » Update the database in a clear and consistent way. » Support the Director during gallery events. » Social Media and marketing interest a plus. » Broad expertise of Art History a plus. » capability to work independently and take initiative Additional Information:: Physical Demands Summary:: Capable of lifting 25lbs.
