Primary tasks & Job responsibilities: » Independently draft and assemble construction documents in a timely and efficient manner. » Review CDs to ensure compliance with the firm’s standards, mechanical, building systems, codes, and ADA requirements. » Coordinate consultant’s work to ensure compliance with design solutions and timely submissions of documents. » Interact effectively with team members and clients to ensure a smooth workflow and ensure prosperous project delivery. » Create and contribute to project design and development. » Respond to RFI’s and submittals and coordinate as needed in the Construction phase. » supervise tasks and provide feedback on work product. » Day-to-day coordination with clients. » Mentor junior staff. » Support multiple projects concurrently. suitable education » Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture from an accredited university. License: » Architectural license or NCIDQ, CCIDC, NCARB, or comparable in-process desirable but not required. practice: » 7-10+ years of broad practice in all phases of architectural design, including substantial and varied practice involving responsible planning and interior design of complex projects. » Substantial practice with applications of engineering technology, interior design materials, and construction methods. » practice with high-end restaurant and hospitality, or high-end residential is a plus. Skills and Abilities: » Excellent drafting and detailing skills. » Proficiency in Photoshop, 3D, InDesign, AutoCAD, and Revit. » Excellent communication skills and the capability to work both independently and collaboratively within project deadlines and budgets. » capability to be flexible and multi-task.
