Special Conditions: The department is especially interested in candidates that have:

Graduate Degree in business, informatics, public health, computer science, information systems or information technology or equivalent practice.
practice in dealing with public health or health related data and generating interactive visualizations using custom programming or other available dashboard tools.

This is a grant-funded position contingent upon funding availcapability.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday

8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

May need to work/travel beyond normal work schedule.

Positions Supervised:
expertise, expertise, and Abilities: Familiarity with coding languages such as Java, C, Python and SQL.
Skilled in database design, data structure, modeling, and development of database management systems.
Fluent in a variety of applicable programming languages, software, and systems.
Familiar with processes such as data cleansing, business process analysis, and technical leadership abilities practices.
Demonstrated attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.
Fluency in statistics and record coding.
Skilled in project management and organization and have the capability to juggle multiple projects; must have enough expertise to assure that all object metadata is significant, standardized, complete, accurate, and up to date.

tasks & Job responsibilities: Plans business analysis approaches, stakeholder engagement, governance, and information management for projects related to PH-IDEAS grant; Reviews, translates and transforms business requirements into the design of semantic data models with tools such as, but not limited to Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services, Azure Analysis Services and SAP Universe Designer.

tasks & Job responsibilities: Serves as a technical lead in collaboration with business operations, Shelby Co. Health department, and Information technology applications and technical teams to translate operations workflow and patient practice objectives into technical requirements.

tasks & Job responsibilities: Provides support, troubleshooting, and problem solving at an advanced level on projects related to PH-IDEAS grant; Reviews upgrade documentation related to analytics tools and content, determines the best implementation approach. Evaluates, anticipates, and communicates risks to existing analytics products and processes, and recommends ways to mitigate those risks.

tasks & Job responsibilities: Performs highly complex quality assurance testing, designs and runs SQL (Structured Query Language) queries for enhanced and complex data access. Plans, develops, and writes documentation of design and deployment processes, workflows, and results.
