Job Opportunity: Temporary Senior Podcast Support Coordinator:Baltimore Public MediaJob description: Temporary Senior Podcast Support Coordinator Listing description The Temporary Senior Podcast Support Coordinatorfor Baltimore Public Media reports to the Director of Underwriting. this function includeseditingand reviewing podcast scripts to ensure quality and consistency in messaging. Recording and editing audio files for podcast episodes.Creating show notes and other promotional materials to accompany podcast episodes.Podcast creation and development for new underwriting clients for multiple new and debuting podcasts that are sold and headed into production flow. Attends and contributes to continuing client meetings for episode production.Helps with structure of podcast components with Account Manager and client.Contributes to editing content with guidance from the client.Goes live on-site for ambient sound and other sound bites from the client.Maintains best audio quality standards for in-studio and on site in consideration of WYPR standards. Manages ad space and clips for insertion of midrolls ad in podcast.Attends client meeting with underwriting team members to support conceptualization and timeline creation.Works closely with Digital Media Director on publishing execution. » Other tasks may include: » Taking raw audio content and turning Information technology into a polished, engaging, and professional-sounding show. » Create Show page on wypr.org » Create Show page in Omny » Submits to NPR using station portal » Submits to Public Media Apps to get the podcast onto WYPR mobile app » Submits the podcast to Spotify, Apple Podcast, Google Podcasts, Facebook Podcast » Upon confirmation that the show is live, initiate promos for on air. » Add podcast to ?All Shows? on WYPR website. » 10 - 20 hours per week. » 10-12 weeks induration.
