Position Summary This recruitment will be used to fill one part-time (a maximum of 20 hours per week) student videographer position for The College of Health at Oregon State University (OSU). The Marketing and Communications team in the College of Health is currently seeking one (1) student worker to create short and long-form videos for COH's official social media channels, website and ad campaigns to promote the college's programs, people and courses. Typical hours will be 10-20 hours per week, and your work-schedule will be flexible.

We are seeking for a student who is ready to practice and build their design, storytelling, video and social media expertise. You'll be working up to 20 hours per week developing and creating short and long-form videos.

You'll assist with planning other social media content as needed. There is opportunity to grow in this function and into other marketing areas of interest (e.g. graphic design, photography, animation, digital signage, print design, writing, etc.). You will be supported and mentored by a marketing team in this function. Visit our social media at:

The anticipated pay rate is $16.00 per hour

Position tasks
   » Work with the COH Marketing Director and Enrollment Marketing Manager to create, plan and update college videos for program, course and college promotion
   » Follow TikTok and Instagram best practices for style and length of content
   » Plan, storyboard, film and edit long-form video
   » Follow OSU brand guidelines
   » Assist with other digital media and marketing projects when able

   » practice using Premiere Pro or similar video editing software. Able to splice video, choose appropriate background music, add text on screen and create -transitions.
   » practice using a camera and microphone for video recording practice editing videos
   » Positive, energetic and engaging
   » availability to experiment with video techniques
   » availability to share personal student practice for content
Preferred (Special) Qualifications
   » Adobe CC practice
   » Social media practice, with focus on short-form video for TikTok/Reels
   » Demonstrated practice with short-form and long-form videos
   » Active in clubs and activities
Working Conditions / Work Schedule You'll be working up to 20 hours per week developing and creating short and long-form videos.
