Job location:New York, NY, US Published:Thu, Oct 3 '24 Pay:$95,000 - $110,000annually Responsibilities include: » Managing multiple projects » Developing project schedules, budgets, and staffing plans » Client coordination » Supervising and mentoring junior staff » Surveying and evaluating existing conditions » Developing project scope » Production of design studies » Evaluating design alternatives » Production of construction drawings and specifications » Consultant coordination » Materials research » Reviewing cost estimates » Quality control, constructcapability, and cost estimate review » Construction administration » Securing agency approvals Desired Qualifications · Minimum of 10 years of professional practice » Completion of a five or six-year architectural degree program » Motivated, well organized, self-starter eager to lgain and share » capability to effectively multitask and manage multiple projects » Strong technical expertise of existing building renovation and new construction » practice with field investigation and documentation of existing conditions » Strong Construction Document practice including detailing and specifications » practice with consultant and client coordination » practice with Construction Administration » Good communication expertise, both verbal and written » Strong AutoCAD expertise, Revit practice a plus » practice working with public agencies (NYCHA, DASNY, SCA, etc.) a plus Working with RKTB » Full time position » Hybrid schedule option, 3 to 4 days in office » Competitive income and benefits commensurate with practice and expertise » Collegial and supportive work environment » Working directly with firm principals and senior associates » 25+ person office » Central Chelsea location convenient to transportation » Mentoring and support opportunities for AXP and ARE » Opportunities for future growth and advancement within firm If you are interested in applying for this position, please send your resume and work examples to:info @rktb.com.
