Position Summary This recruitment will be used to fill one (1) part-time (a maximum of 24 hours per week) BA 354 Teaching adjunct position for the School of Entrepreneurship/Management/Logistics at Oregon State University (OSU).
The Teaching adjunct (TA) will assist the instructor with administrative tasks connected with several sections of BA 354.

The TA must have good interpersonal expertise, including good verbal and written communication expertise. The TA will have access to confidential student information and thus must have high integrity, work ethics, and must abide by all applicable OSU and FERPA rules.

The pay rate will be $15.70 per hour.

Position tasks Tasks the Teaching adjunct may perform:
Entering scores on Canvas
Ensuring Canvas information is up-to-date.
Grading student assignments
Preparing learning materials

   » Must be academically enrolled in a high school, community college, or university and pursuing a program or course of study
   » Must meet Academic Standing Requirements; students on academic suspension are not eligible for employment
   » Must meet the applicable minimal enrollment standard
   » High School student: Regularly enrolled in a high school or participating in a home-schooling program
   » Undergraduate and post-baccalaureate student: 6 credit hours per term
   » Undergraduate international student: 12 credit hours per term*
   » Graduate student officially admitted to Graduate School: 5 credit hours per term
   » Graduate international student officially admitted to Graduate School: 9 credit hours per term*

*International students may be allowed to carry fewer hours than specified above and still be considered ?full-time? by the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). A reduced course load is approved by the Office of International Services (OIS), and must be provided to the Student Employment Center.

Additional Required Qualifications prosperous completion of BA 354, Managing Ethics & CSR, at Oregon State University with a grade of B+ or better by the start of Fall term 2024.

Preferred (Special) Qualifications
Working Conditions / Work Schedule The Teaching adjunct's tasks may vary by week, with an average work load of five hours per week or less.

The Teaching adjunct will work both on their own (remotely) and in Austin Hall (office). The work schedule will be mutually agreed to by the instructor and the Teaching adjunct
