Science History Institute

The Science History Institute is recruiting for a full-time (35 hours per week) limited-duration (three years) Project Archivist. The Project Archivist will arrange, describe, and preserve the items within the Dow Historical Collection, which comprises more than 400 feet of business records, advertisements, oral histories, and photographs. The Project Archivist will also assist with the curation of library displays and exhibits related to the Dow Historical Collection.
The ideal candidate will possess the following Appropriate qualifications:
   » Master's degree in history, archival or museum studies, or library science
   » Certification by the Academy of Certified Archivists is preferred
   » Three or more years of practice processing archival collections and writing archival aids
   » Preference given to candidates with specialized knowledge of the history of the chemical sciences

The annual income for this position is $55,000.
