Remote or hybrid work location is an option. In-office location is flexible and candidates will be considered in Atlanta, Los Angeles, Wilmington Delaware, Dallas, Denver, New York, Washington DC, and San Francisco. A technical background is strongly preferred and an undergraduate or higher degree in engineering, computer science, physics, or a similar field is preferred but not required. The ideal candidate will have excellent credentials, strong interpersonal expertise, and intellectual property (primarily patent) litigation practice. The candidate also will preferably be admitted before the USPTO and preferably have at least some practice in other types of intellectual property litigation, such as copyright, trademark, and trade secrets litigation, or other technology-related business litigation. Qualified candidates will have practice in various aspects of patent infringement litigation (e.g., development of strategies, conducting discovery, preparing infringement and invalidity contentions, claim construction/Markman, depositions, technical and damages expert witness reports, preparing for trial, etc.). Trial practice is not required but would be valued. Candidates must have strong writing and analytical expertise, and the capability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. The prosperous candidate will be a self-starter with the capability to work independently and as part of a team.
