Primary Purpose of Department The Office of OneIT provides highly reliable information technology infrastructure, tools, and services to empower the University to achieve its academic, research, administrative, and service goals.

Primary Purpose of Position This position is primarily responsible for the tier 2 support of systems and services provided by the Identity and Access Management (IAM) team. This often requires interfacing with campus clients and utilizing a breadth of expertise to resolve issues in a timely manner. The person in this position should be comfortable with the concepts of identity lifecycle, authentication, and authorization.

Systems and services supported by IAM include cloud-located solutions, such as Google Workspace, Microsoft Office365, as well as systems maintained on-premise used for provisioning of user accounts, single sign-on authentication, and access control.

Summary of Position Responsibilities Respond and troubleshoot escalated support requests in coordination with campus client and subject-matter experts.

Assist in the management and development of systems and services provided to campus by the Identity and Access Management team.

Minimum Education/practice Bachelor's degree plus 2-4 years of significant work practice; or the equivalent combination of education and practice.

   » Proficiency with scripting languages (Python, Powershell, Groovy)
   » Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Podman, OpenShift)
