Essential tasks & Responsibilities

Lead But Why'ssocial media strategy

Participate in episode production, including booking, mixing and producing web content
   »
Create short-form packages for social media platforms
   »
Lead newsletter production, including Fan Club newsletter and episode newsletters

Respond to listener questions and engage with listeners on all platforms, helping audiences feel a connection toBut Why

Post episodes on YouTube and take ownership to grow theBut WhyYouTube channel

Keep track of questions, maintaining database and identifying trends and timely topics

Position Requirements
Education and practice
Demonstrated skills in creating dynamic and engaging social media content. capability to interact with both child and adult audiences. Editorial or production practice in podcasting or broadcast journalism. Strong written and verbal skills.
Working Conditions
Work is normally performed in a climate-controlled office environment with moderate noise levels (computers, telephones, etc.). No known environmental hazards are encountered in the normal performance of job tasks.
Physical Demands
Work involves standing and walking for brief periods, bending, and filing, but most tasks are from a seated position. There is potential for eyestrain from reading detailed materials on a computer screen. Deadlines, workloads during peak periods, and changing priorities may cause increased stress levels. Work requires finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination to operate computer keyboards at a moderate skill level.
