Minimum Position Appropriate qualifications: Bachelor's degree and five (5) years of significant practice. Must be currently certified as a BCBA with the Behavior Analytic Certification Board. Be able to be licensed in the state of Tennessee.

Special Conditions: This is a limited grant-funded position contingent upon funding availcapability.

The department is specifically interested in candidates with:
Training and clinical practice in providing applied behavior analysis services to children diagnosed with Autism.
Familiarity with CPT codes and billing insurance.
Bilingual in Spanish.
practice working as a BCBA designing ABA programs for children with autism, as well as training parents and instructors how to implement these interventions.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday

8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

May need to work/travel beyond normal work schedule.

Hiring Range: $60,000 - $63,000 per year

Job tasks

tasks & Job responsibilities: Assesses children using ABLLS, VB-MAPP, PEAK, and QABF, MAS, FAST and Functional Behavior Assessment as needed. Maintains caseload of clients. Delivers direct services to clients. Writes comprehensive Individualized Behavior Plans. Develops and implements expertise acquisition, social expertise programs. Develops and implements positive behavior plans and strategies (PBSP, PBIP). Creates recommendations for comprehensive services.

tasks & Job responsibilities: Conducts client's team meetings. Updates client's treatment plan and support behavior instructors and parents on the team. Assesses the client's treatment needs and writes detailed goals and objectives for each client's treatment plan so that progress may be tracked and measured. Collaborates with other treatment team members and members of the child's education environment regarding child's progress through interdisciplinary team meetings, records review and informal discussions as appropriate. Submits progress report. Supervises RBTs and graduate students accruing their BCBA hours.
