As we continue to expand our portfolio, We are pursuing a talented Senior Architectural Designer to join our dynamic team. Position Overview: We are pursuing a highly skilled and practiced Senior Architectural Designer with a passion for modern residential design. The ideal candidate will have broad practice working on high-end residential projects in New York City and the Hamptons, demonstrating a strong portfolio showcasing innovative design solutions and meticulous attention to detail. Job responsibilities: » Lead the design process from concept development through to construction documentation for high-end modern residential projects. » Collaborate closely with clients, consultants, and internal teams to translate design concepts into executable plans. » Conduct site visits and provide oversight during the construction phase to ensure design intent is maintained. » Mentor and guide junior staff members, providing support and fostering their professional growth. » Stay updated on industry trends, building codes, and best practices to ensure designs meet regulatory requirements and client expectations. Appropriate qualifications: » Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution. » 8+ years of practice in architectural design, with a focus on high-end modern residential projects in NYC and the Hamptons. » Proficiency in AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite. » broad familiarity with NYC & NYS Building Codes, zoning regulations, construction techniques and detailing, as well as working expertise of related engineering disciplines and project administration practices. » Excellent communication and presentation expertise, with the capability to effectively convey design concepts to clients and stakeholders. » Strong organizational expertise and attention to detail, proactive and effective leadership abilities expertise with a collaborative and team-oriented approach. » Must be located in the New York City metro area and have legal authorization to work in the US.
