About the function Cranaleith seeks a mission-driven, creative, and strategic thinker to develop and manage a broad range of development and marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate knows the principles and practices of nonprofit development, has excellent relationship-building expertise, and excels in working on multiple projects concurrently while prioritizing multiple agendas. They know best practices and trends in data-driven marketing, brand management, and public relations. This person will clearly articulate Cranaleith's mission, interests, and needs, and build a strong social and business presence to best represent Cranaleith to donors and effectively build positive working relationships within and outside the Cranaleith community. broad collaboration with the Executive Director. Candidate Qualifications Bachelor's degree required. Nonprofit practice and expertise in donor management systems and marketing tools (eTapestry, Adobe Suite, Canva, Meta preferred.) Must have excellent oral and written communication expertise and be exceptionally organized, accurate, and flexible. Google certification and expertise of website CMS programs, SEO, and spiritual practices are preferred. Development Key areas of focus include: Donor cultivation, annual fund campaign, internal development processes, new fundraising programs, planned giving, major gifts, grants, corporate sponsors and events. Areas of Job responsibilities: » Increase and diversify the funding base through donor cultivation, development of new fundraising strategies and programs, and engagement with prospective and existing donors » Initiate and manage a digital fundraising program » Plan and manage annual fund letter campaigns » Create and implement a donor life cycle plan with an emphasis on donor recognition and communications » Identify grant opportunities and support the grant application process » Assist with event planning, promotion, and execution » Support the design, implementation, and management of the Planned Giving and Major Gifts programs » Collect and analyze giving and constituent data, make recommendations located on best business practices and data analysis, and create regular metrics and reports » Create and manage the Development Calendar and align with marketing efforts » Prepare reports on development efforts to the Development/Marketing Committee of the Board » supervise Development/Marketing department budgets Marketing Key areas of focus include: Internal and external marketing and communications including print and digital collateral, website revision, social media, and development communications. Implement and supervise the Marketing Plan and Calendar Areas of Job responsibilities: » Implement the Marketing Plan with a commitment to a unified brand and audience-centric communications » Create internal and external print, digital, and social marketing and development collateral for traditional media, website, flyers, newsletters, and other methods to promote programs and events, engage the public, generate funds, and deepen relationships » Promote positive relations with those outside the Center (non-profits, professional groups, community groups, and the media) for collaboration on events and programs promotion and development of partnerships » Collect and analyze media metrics to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly, make recommendations located on best business practices, and create regular media reports » Prepare reports on marketing efforts to the Development/Marketing Committee of the Board Job Type : Full-time, on-site at the Philadelphia location with occasional regional travel Report to : Executive Director Pay : $75 to 80K per year Benefits : Dental, health, and vision insurance; Vacation/PTO time; Retirement plan Cranaleith Spiritual Center is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
