Job tasks tasks/Job responsibilities: Register students (undergraduates in person with appropriate signature/PIN and graduates in person, over phone or via e-mail); answer main phone lines for the Office of the Registrar; process change of address, name and SSN requests; change majors/programs as requested by departments; manage the E-Mail: Regis@ecu.edu mailbox; facilitate course roster verification; refer students, parents, alumni, faculty, staff and the general public as necessary; serve as backup for the front desk and be a first point of contact for the Registrar's Office. The public contact this position has is highly visible and demanding. There is everyday personal and telephone contact with students, alumni, staff, faculty, school deans, departmental chairpersons, parents, and the general public.
