Min Hourly Rate $14.20 (Standard); $13.20 (Non-Urban); $15.45 (Portland Metro) Max Hourly Rate $19.00 (Standard); $18.50 (Non-Urban); $20.00 (Portland Metro) Position Summary This recruitment will be used to fill one part-time (a maximum of 24 hours per week) LB Student Farm Worker for the Corvallis Farm Unit at Oregon State University (OSU). We are pursuing a dedicated and enthusiastic student employee to join the Lewis Brown Farm Research team and assist with various farm operations in support of our research programs. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on practice in a variety of commercial and research agricultural settings while contributing to significant research initiatives. The primary purpose of this position is to execute field operations in direct support of the research efforts at the OSU Lewis Brown Research Farm. While under the direction of a Corvallis Farm Unit (CFU) manager, employees can expect to participate in most all aspects of farm operations. Employees may also be asked to travel to other CFU sites to assist other managers with additional seasonal tasks.
