Currently, we are in need of a Project Architect with 5-8 years of practice at our New York office. The firm is known for creating award-winning commercial, residential, and hospitality projects that span the past thirty years. We are working domestically and internationally from the Bay Area to New York and the Wine Country to the Middle East. The projects range from residences to restaurants, casinos to mixed-use developments, and hotels to showrooms. Our goal is to make the buildings and spaces we create significant, attractive, functional, and timeless. The ideal candidate will share this set of values and aspirations.Requirements: » Masters Degree in Architecture » 5-8 years of proven practice in all phases of the design process: conceptual, detail and design development, construction documents, construction administration, site supervision » Excellent AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite expertise » 3D modeling expertise/sketch up » Excellent technical drafting and detailing abilities » Highly developed expertise in client communications, contract documentation, project scheduling, team leadership abilities, building design, technical detailing, consultant coordination, construction administration » expertise of local building codes » Fluency in written and spoken English » Hands-on approach » capability to start within 2 weeks » PC platform » Full time » practice in hospitality/restaurants is a plusBenefits Package: Cass Calder Smith Architecture + Interiors values its team!
