Oregon’s leading winery seeks a customer service-minded wine and food lover to assist in managing its elegant on-site tasting room. This is a great opportunity for a hospitality/wine professional to join the team at King Estate Winery, located in Eugene, Oregon. The prosperous candidate will have leadership abilities practice in all aspects of front-of-the-house operations. Our ideal candidate believes in a relentless pursuit of outstanding customer service. We seek someone to lead by example, with a strong capability to train as well as lgain from others.

Key Appropriate qualifications:
•  Level 1 or above Sommelier
•  Energetic and positive leader who treats all staff with courtesy and respect
•  Maintain calm demeanor in high pressure environment
•  A commitment to the hospitality industry with an excellent floor presence
•  Progressive leadership abilities practice in wine-driven and service-focused restaurant and/or tasting room
•  practice in hiring, training and mentoring front-of-house staff with the capability to lead in a high-stress environment
•  Enthusiasm for wine and culinary trends

practice & suitable education

•  Minimum five (5) years or more of practice in high-volume fine dining food and wine business
•  Manage staff assignments as well as flow of reservations
•  capability to work flexible schedule including weekends and holidays as required
•  Strong interpersonal expertise including the capability to relate to associates across all levels of the organization
•  capability to manage multiple projects with thorough focus on detail
•  capability to step in to any position within the tasting room
•  practice in wine education and creating tasting practices at the highest level
•  Must exhibit the highest level of professionalism in dealing with sensitive and confidential information
•  Demonstrated leadership abilities, analytical, problem-solving and decision-making abilities
•  practice effectively managing staff, schedules, budgets and business practices
•  Event coordination practice: planning, organizing, scheduling and staffing
