The Employer Relations Team focuses on developing and maintaining relationships with employers to foster recruitment and employer/student engagement. Requirements for Candidacy: candidates should possess excellent oral and written communication expertise and have knowledge of teamwork, leadership abilities, time, and stress management, planning/organizing, problem solving, diverse cultural appreciation. Ideal candidates will have practice in the following areas: » Strong verbal/written communication expertise. » Using Microsoft Office software (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel). » Internet/online research applications and general communication technology (email, phone, etc.). » practice with Handshake or another university career services platform. » Using Excel for data analysis. Scope of Position and Job responsibilities: As a paraprofessional, the Employer Relations adjunct provides administrative and strategic support for the goals and objectives of the Employer Relations Team of the Career Center. Responsibilities include: » Supporting the coordination of all employer-related events, services, and resources. » Representing the Career Center at university-sponsored events. » Assisting in the planning, coordination, and marketing of events, activities, and programs. » Creating, maintaining, and organizing employer-related information. » Keeping accurate records and analyzing data for reporting purposes. » knowledge current employer marketing material and suggesting ways to increase employer involvement. » Working on email drafting, cold calling, employer marketing, and other tasks as assigned. Compensation: » $12 per hour. » Flexible schedule with a maximum of 25 hours per week.
