Who We Are: WAU - Watchorn Architecture & Urbanism, is a full-service architecture and urban design practice located in New York City working across residential, commercial, and institutional projects. Our design approach is driven by a curiosity for new organizational typologies that offer new ways of living, working, and engaging with one another. What You'll Do: » Collaborate with senior architects and designers on all stages of project development, from concept design through to construction administration. » Contribute ideas and solutions that challenge conventional thinking and elevate project results. » Utilize software including Rhino, V-Ray, Enscape, and Adobe Creative Cloud to visualize and communicate design concepts effectively. » Utilize AutoCAD, Revit, and Bluebeam to develop detailed construction drawing sets. » Conduct site visits, surveys, and assessments to inform design decisions and ensure project practiccapability. » Assist in the preparation of presentations, reports, and documentation for client meetings and regulatory approvals. Who You Are: » Hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution. » Have 1-3 years of practice in creative design firms. » Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino, Adobe Creative Suite, and other significant design software. » Possess a strong knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations, and construction techniques. » Critical thinker with a passion for challenging convention. » Strong communicator who thrives in a collaborative team environment and can articulate design concepts clearly.
