Pay Rate $33/hr
Minimum practice/Education Required qualifications include a master's degree and submitted application to seek & obtain supervision hours for full licensure as a licensed clinical mental health provider in North Carolina. In addition, required qualifications include at least two years practicing as a direct practitioner with individual, group and outreach practice in a higher education setting.

Departmental Preferred practice, expertise, Training/suitable education Preferred qualifications include a mental health degree in the field of social work, counseling, or psychology; strong assessment expertise within a clinical model; a solid utilization of best-practice strategies to facilitate prosperous continuity of care planning; a thorough knowledge of community resources and access protocols; knowledge of electronic health record systems such as Maxient, Titanium and/or referral databases; and a demonstrated interest in university health and wellbeing initiatives. In addition, the prosperous candidate will be able to articulate an knowledge of the intersections between clinical case management; wrap-around supportive services to students in crisis; and outreach programming, for covering any of the dimensions of health and wellbeing.

tasks and Responsibilities Responsibilities include : clinical case management assessment for those students with referenced health & wellbeing needs on care and concern referrals; linkage and referral to campus and community supports; provision of brief, short-term, solution-focused interventions for students at-risk post mental health crisis/hospitalization; consultation with faculty, staff, students, parents, and others; and outreach and educational programming to the campus and local community.
