Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Will require work beyond normal schedule including weekends, nights, some holidays, and some travel. Reporting to the Senior Vice President for Advancement, the Vice President for Philanthropy enhances production that provides both university-wide and divisional-level leadership abilities in growing philanthropic support for the University of Memphis. Serving as part of the Advancement senior leadership abilities team, the Vice President drives development agent performance and builds the donor base for support to gain stakeholder loyalty. Provides strategic leadership abilities and mentorship to their assigned units and collaborates across all areas of Advancement and the University of Memphis. Builds and leads results-focused teams with a leadership abilities style that encourages and promotes an entrepreneurial and innovative spirit among the team. Responsible for growing the donor pipeline that supports the mission of the University of Memphis.
