Position DetailsPosition InformationPosting Number: 2022109 Classification Title: Position Title: adjunct Professor of Construction Management FTE: 1.0 FLSA: income: Commensurate Job Summary/Basic Function: About this function: A combination of academic qualifications, technical skills, teaching abilities, and research capabilities What You'll Do - Position Responsibilities » Teaching: Teach students (both graduate and undergraduate) face-to-face in the classroom and online » Research: Publish in academic journals and attend academic conferences; conduct internally and externally funded research » Service: Display leadership abilities and participate in the development, implementation, and evaluation of college and department programs; participate in department, college, and university committees, and other activities connected with professional status and perform tasks essential to the college and university mission; perform related tasks essential to the university teaching profession Key Competencies: A blend of academic qualifications, research proficiency, teaching abilities, and leadership abilities skills. ABD candidates must provide documented evidence of dissertation defense and completion of study before hiring. Candidates with Ph.D. conferred at the time of initial appointment will hold the rank of adjunct Professor upon initial appointment. » Candidates must have proven teaching capabilities, commitment to research, excellent communication skills, the capability to work effectively in teams, and the capability to develop industrial relations.
