Student adjuncts will: • Assist customers at the Service Desk • Assist customers with use of various equipment in the Production Center • Shelve, shift, and straighten books and other curriculum materials • Read the curriculum shelves to maintain correct call number order • Work with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word • Search the online catalog for books and other materials • Perform other tasks as assigned Various hours are available, including nights and weekend rotations. In the Fall, the Teaching Resources Center is typically open Monday-Thursday from 10am-7pm, Friday from 10am-5pm, Saturdays from 1pm-5pm, and Sundays from 1pm-7pm. Preferred (Majors, practice, GPA, etc.) Preferred Appropriate qualifications: • Positive and flexible • Reliable and detailed-oriented • capability to work both independently and with others • Strong customer service expertise • Previous library practice • Education majors are highly encouraged to apply.
