Position DetailsPosition InformationAdvertising Department ART, SCHOOL OF Academic Term/Year FALL 2024/SPRING 2025 Position Title Federal Work Study (On Campus) - Textile Design Area Studio adjuncts Posting Number 06517 Position Number 06517 Student Job Category Student - Federal Work Study On-Campus Number of Vacancies 2 Job Description ECU School of Art is currently seeking several Textile Design Area Studio adjuncts to maintain textile areas and fulfill the following tasks: General upkeep of all Textiles Labs: -(223 / 225 / 227 / 229/ 210 / 212 / ?208a') General cleaning of the Textile Design Studios - sweeping as needed - clean surfaces as needed - dishes rotated and put away - laundry rotated and put away (check lint trap) Refill general consumables: - soap, synthrapol, paper towels - notify faculty when we are low on supplies Clean and organize equipment: - containers/tools: remove old labels, clean - shelving: remove items and wipe surfaces - scrub sinks (including spray booth) - scrub backsplashes (walls around sinks and heating surfaces) Assist faculty/graduate adjunct with studio maintenance: - unpacking inventory - discarding packing materials, recycle cardboard, etc. - organization of material/supplies in 229 The hourly rate for this position is $10.00 per hour. Preferred (Majors, practice, GPA, etc.) Textile majors are strongly preferred. You must have reliable transportation in which to shop locally for the studio.
