The position supports continuing flood mapping research as part of Dr. Smith's research group. The student intern would complete computational work to support experiments with artificial intelligence and synthetic aperture radar to map floods. Requirements:: Attention to detail; able to follow directions; science or engineering major preferred. Previous computational practice a plus. Critical thinking expertise in order to work safely in the lab and field. Must be have a computer and be willing to complete repetitive computational tasks.
