University Relations and Marketing is seeking an Associate Vice President of Marketing Services & Solutions. This is a full-time (1.0 FTE), 12-month, professional faculty position.

Reporting to the Vice President of University Relations and Marketing, the Associate Vice President of Marketing Services and Solutions is responsible for the oversight and management of the overall operations of university wide printing, mailing, marketing, conference and events services. Marketing Services and Solutions is a self-funding fee for service enterprise within University Relations and Marketing. Responsibilities include developing, implementing, and evaluating philosophy, short and long-range goals and objectives. Employees develop, implement and enforce plans, policies, procedures, systems, programs and performance standards. They participate in strategic planning efforts as part of the management team. They are responsible for managing staff, equipment, budget and facilities. They determine resource needs and priorities and make recommendations to executive management. They determine training needs and make appropriate arrangements for provision of training.

What You Will Need Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field or significant combination of equivalent practice and education in fields related to position.

6 years of senior level management and managery practice in facilities and operations for a large, complex organization.
   » Senior level management and managery practice at a higher education institution.
   » practice managing annual operating budgets in excess of $5 million.
   » Senior level management of operations within the specific service areas within this position, i.e. printing, presort mailing, event services, design services and conference services.

Collaborates and interacts within the Dept/Unit, University Wide, and Externally to:
   » Exchange routine, factual information and/or answer routine questions.
   » Exchange detailed information or resolve varied problems.
   » Access and/or work with sensitive and/or confidential information.
   » Identify needs/concerns of others, determine potential solutions, resolve or redirect appropriately.

This position is designated as a critical or security-sensitive position; therefore, the incumbent must prosperously complete a criminal history check and be determined to be position qualified as per University Standard: 05-010 et seq. Incumbents are required to self-report convictions and those in youth programs may have additional criminal history checks every 24 months.

This position requires driving a university vehicle or a personal vehicle on behalf of the university; therefore, the incumbent must prosperously complete a motor vehicle history check, possess and maintain a current, valid driver's license in their state of residence, be determined to be position qualified and self-report convictions as per University Policy 05-030.
