Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license. Requires six months of appropriate practice. Special Conditions: The department is especially interested in candidates that have practice with grounds maintenance. Multiple positions filled from this posting. Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 6:00 a.m. - 2: 00 p.m. This position is considered to be an emergency crucial employee. Additional hours may be required during peak times, emergencies, and or emergency closings. Posting Date: 09/11/2024 Closing Date: 09/25/2024 Open Until Screening Begins: No Hiring Range: $15.00 per hour Full-Time/Part-Time: Full-Time: Benefits Eligible Working Conditions: While performing the tasks of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to handle or feel. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; sit; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, or crouch; and talk or hear. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds and push or pull up to 250 pounds with appropriate tools or moving equipment. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and color vision. While performing the tasks of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to wet and humid conditions, chemicals, fumes and airborne particles, outdoor spaces and is required to climb ladders to access equipment in high and/or precarious places.
