Position Overview:
We are seeking for an practiced Architectural Project Manager with at least eight years of professional practice and a degree in architecture from an accredited program. While licensure is preferred, Information technology is not mandatory. In this function, you will supervise one or more small to medium-sized projects, ensuring their success from inception to completion. As the main point of contact for clients and consultants, you will coordinate documents and information while monitoring budgets, schedules, and documentation. You will collaborate with team members to produce the necessary deliverables all over the design and construction process.
Key Job responsibilities:
   » Manage one or more small to mid-sized projects, coordinating all administrative and technical aspects.
   » Prepare strategic plans for project success and ensure cost-effective execution.
   » Serve as the primary client and consultant liaison, managing project communications, budgets, schedules, and scope of work.
   » Assign project tasks to team members and supervise office administrative tasks related to projects.
Appropriate qualifications:
   » Professional degree in architecture from an accredited program.
   » Eight or more years of professional practice, with proven project management expertise.
   » Licensure preferred but not required.
   » capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and effectively communicate with clients and team members.
   » Proficiency in project management software desired and proficiency with AutoCAD, Rhino, Adobe Suite, Google Suite, and other design software required.
   » practice with construction administration processes, including submittals, RFIs, site meetings, punch-list, and project closeout.
   » practice managing budgets, fees, contracts, and schedules.
   » Strong organizational, detail-oriented, and problem-solving expertise.
   » Strong analytical, oral, and written communication expertise, with the capability to build quick rapport with all levels of employees, clients, consultants, and vendors.
   » practice with Historic / Landmarks Preservation Commission projects a plus.
   » practice in New York City and familiarity with Building Codes and NYC Zoning Resolution a plus.
   » Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; we are unable to offer sponsorship at this time.
Compensation:
   » income range: $95,000 to $120,000, located on practice and qualifications.
   » Generous PTO policy.
   » 50% firm contribution toward health insurance.
   » 3% Simple IRA match.
