Min Hourly Rate $14.20 (Standard); $13.20 (Non-Urban); $15.45 (Portland Metro) Max Hourly Rate $21.00 (Standard); $18.50 (Non-Urban); $21.50 (Portland Metro) Position Summary This recruitment will be used to fill one part-time (a maximum of 24 hours per week) Photpgrapher and Videographer for the Forestry Administration at Oregon State University (OSU). The College's marketing and communications team is seeking a talented and creative person who is highly motivated, enthusiastic and skilled in the art of visual storytelling. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, responsive, and committed to hitting their deadlines. You do not need to be a forestry student or have in-depth science expertise to succeed in this function. In this position, you will capture digital assets through photography and videography and gain hands-on practice in marketing and communications. You will be involved with content creation for a wide variety of topics, including: » College of Forestry student activities » Faculty and student profiles » Academic programs » College news » Groundbreaking research in sustainable forestry and ecosystems, resilient economies, and thriving communities » The College's work to advance diversity, equity, inclusion and justice for students and faculty » Events, scholarships and other topics that will engage readers while demonstrating the impact of the College of Forestry Position tasks » Providing digital asset management tasks, including responsibility for securing and tracking model releases » Capturing photography and videography for digital content & storytelling » Editing video and photo content in Adobe Creative Suite » Attending College of Forestry events to capture visual assets » Collaborate with other student workers to develop social content, serving as back-up social media content developer » Support College of Forestry merch store and inventory management » Additional activities as assigned Minimum Qualifications Full Employment Eligibility Requirements can be found here: http://fa.oregonstate.edu/stu-manual/500-employment-eligibility-requiremen ts » Must be academically enrolled in a high school, community college, or university and pursuing a program or course of study » Must meet Academic Standing Requirements; students on academic suspension are not eligible for employment » Must meet the applicable minimal enrollment standard » High School student: Regularly enrolled in a high school or participating in a home-schooling program » Undergraduate and post-baccalaureate student: 6 credit hours per term » Undergraduate international student: 12 credit hours per term* » Graduate student officially admitted to Graduate School: 5 credit hours per term » Graduate international student officially admitted to Graduate School: 9 credit hours per term* *International students may be allowed to carry fewer hours than specified above and still be considered ?full-time? by the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS).
