Work Schedule: Monday - Friday
8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Will occasionally require work beyond normal schedule including nights, weekends, some holidays, and travel.

tasks & Job responsibilities: Develop and lead a strategic public relations plan for the Athletics Department including oversight of all digital media, social media, video services, and new media initiatives, as well as including advertising trade agreements.

Oversight of Integrated Communications staff (Communications, marketing, Branding) and Creative Content staff (Social & Digital Media)

tasks & Job responsibilities: Provide senior-level management support in planning, negotiating, developing, and/or implementing unit or department programs and services.

Work directly with the Director of Athletics to coordinate all strategic plans/initiatives, capital projects, fiscal policy & projections, and fundraising efforts.

Provide operational support to Director of Athletics and senior staff with a focus on solving problems and increasing efficiency and effectiveness.

tasks & Job responsibilities: Develop and lead strategic internal and external marketing and communications plans for the department and provide executive oversight to all Athletics Department communications platforms and messaging, creative content, live broadcast productions, and game presentations.

Organize, direct, and review major external initiatives in conjunction with University Public Relations & Communications Staff, ensuring coordination with other divisions and appropriate entities as needed.

tasks & Job responsibilities: Coordinate all communication on behalf of the Director of Athletics and respond to media or public inquiry in absence of the Director of Athletics

Responsible for the communication of the department's day-to-day operations and written correspondence and presentations for the department.

Develop and maintain internal relationship to ensure the University's interests and expectations are met and contribute to the cultivation of relationships with alumni, donors, university management, and all other internal and external constituents.

tasks & Job responsibilities: Develop, manage, and adapt a strategic branding plan for the department that is consistent with the University of Memphis brand standards.

tasks & Job responsibilities: Responsible for the development of messaging and communication plans for revenue generation to include ticket sales, season, individual and group sales, annual fund donations, capital campaigns, sponsorships, and any other activities that generate revenue. Regularly attend athletics events to assist as directed.

tasks & Job responsibilities: Attend meetings and executive-level functions as a surrogate for the Director of Athletics and represent the department at various events, campus & professional committees.

Participate in the establishment of unit or University-wide written plans, policies and procedures.
