Job Opportunity: Managing Producer:UW-Madison, Wisconsin Public MediaJob description: Managing Producer Listing description Wisconsin Public Radio is seeking the next Managing Producer for Wisconsin Today, our weekday program that focuses on news, in-depth stories, and community across Wisconsin. The managing producer shepherds broadcast and digital content on Wisconsin Today by approving pitches, assigning content, and scheduling topics. They also schedule and manage the performance of a team of content producers while collaborating with hosts, technical directors, and related staff. This person is an excellent communicator and problem-solver who works well on deadlines and has an eye for detail. This position reports to the Executive Producer of Wisconsin Today, and they will partner with the EP to execute on the vision and mission of Wisconsin Today. The person in this function may work an in-person, remote, or hybrid schedule, depending on needs. The function is located in our offices in Madison, Wisconsin.
