Minimum Position Appropriate qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Development, Adult Education, Human Resources Management, or a significant field of study and a minimum of 3 years of professional related practice. An equivalent combination of education, training and practice may be substituted for the degree requirement.

Special Conditions: The department is especially interested in candidates with Human Resources practice and familiar with the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday
8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
May need to work beyond normal work schedule.

tasks & Job responsibilities: Assists in conducting continuous learning and development needs assessments to drive training initiatives. Researches and identifies appropriate learning solutions and prepares learning and development programs, objectives and materials utilizing a variety of media. Develops and designs specific learning programs that focus on competencies, operating processes, procedures, policies and systems (e.g. managery expertise, conflict resolution, process improvement). Develops and delivers learning programs for varying levels of individuals within the University and travels to other University campuses to provide learning or participate in employee events, as needed. Monitors the effectiveness of training programs while developing a culture of recognition, service excellence and employee learning. Drives change initiatives and promotes the mission, vision and desired culture of the university.

tasks & Job responsibilities: Facilitates and manages the employee orientation and onboarding sessions. Makes adjustments to information shared located on targeted audience to include all significant information for each employee classification. Coordinates with appropriate parties to ensure any additional speakers are present and all new hire information is prepared for each session.

tasks & Job responsibilities: Assists with the design, development, and implementation of the University's Performance Assessment and Management Program and creates/facilitates learning opportunities in the completion of employees' performance evaluations, goal setting, professional development training plans, communication, increased efficiencies and service excellence by researching and promoting best practices.

tasks & Job responsibilities: Coordinates all employee recognition programs (e.g. Career Milestone Awards, Excellence Awards, etc.) and assists in building partnerships with external organizations and companies in promoting recognition and engagement opportunities. Expands the recognition program by researching and proposing new initiatives that promote a culture of excellence.

tasks & Job responsibilities: Coordinates and conducts University learning needs analyses in various forms and analyzes the information to help identify and define present and future training needs. Assists University departments in identifying and creating learning programs by researching the department's needs, planning and developing appropriate learning courses and conducting/facilitating the learning sessions, seminars, etc. Evaluates the effectiveness of training programs through development and training surveys. Analyzes data and trends to recommend program changes. Continually evaluates training progress and training procedures to monitor and analyze course effectiveness and update curriculum as needed. Conducts follow-up studies of all completed trainings to evaluate and measure results.
