Special Conditions: The department is especially interested in candidates with practice in assisting executive level administration.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday
8:00a.m. - 4:30p.m.

May need to work beyond normal work schedule during peak periods including some evenings and weekends.

Job tasks

tasks & Job responsibilities: Provide administrative support to Student Academic Success main office including monitoring the front desk, answering incoming calls, checking physical and virtual mail boxes, and responding to general office emails. Monitors office customer service initiatives, takes meeting minutes, and maintains departmental staff reference list. Maintains inventory of supplies, equipment, forms, and records management systems.

tasks & Job responsibilities: Coordinates manager's calendar and resolves scheduling conflicts. Maintains all details pertaining to manager's travel in chrome river, including receipts and travel reimbursements. Assists in planning and implementing conferences and special events; assists in making any necessary room rentals, reservations, or catering arrangements.

tasks & Job responsibilities: Initiates first step in employee hiring and purchasing actions in workforum, Tigerbuy, and other university systems. Serves as backup to the budget agent on these actions during critical financial and budgetary periods, including ensuring employee timesheets and leave reports are submitted, reviews purchasing card submissions for approval, notifies staff of deadlines and report submissions.

tasks & Job responsibilities: Ensures staff and students are aware of the protocols, systems, and functions of front desk and customer service operations, supervises student workers/graduate adjuncts' division of labor, and schedules activities as needed.
